Muong Thanh Grand Lao Cai Hotel, Lao Cai

The hotel has a decent location close to the market street and the river, but my experience was marred by a few issues. The rooms were unfortunately not very inviting, as they had a strong stale cigarette smell despite being labeled non-smoking. The service was a mixed bag; while some staff were accommodating, others seemed unfriendly. Overall, the value for the price paid could be better.
